Michael Haritan is a commercial photographer with over 33 years experience, providing location photography services for clients in the fields of architecture, corporate, industrial, education and public relations.

Haritan was the preeminent photography contributor to "Pittsburgh: Fulfilling It's Destiny" - the 1987 book showcasing the beauty, character, cultural and industrial heritage of Pittsburgh and it's people.

He continues the documentation of the architecture and landscapes of the Pittsburgh region for editorial clients and personal projects for his fine art photography exhibits in local and national galleries.

Haritan recently earned an Associate of Science Degree with FEMA certifications, with an interest in providing photography and videography services for the planning, response, mitigation and recovery related to natural and man-made disasters.

Clients provided with threat assessment and security surveys include government, public safety, local and state emergency management, education, corporate, industrial and private security firms.


Goals include:

- to help clients improve their image through the use of creative photography

- maintain the highest standards of excellence in service, quality and professionalism

- Helping first responders with the photo and video survey for training, recruitment, promotion and documentation of their services in preparation and confronting disasters, terrorism and domestic threats.


"Chernobyl - Causes and Consequences of the World's Greatest Nuclear Disaster, Tragedy and Coverup" is Haritan's 2016 photo documentary in Ukraine currently presented to education, religious, medical, environmental, corporate, industrial, emergency response, safety and security audiences in the U.S. and Canada.
